Just a few days ago, a snow storm hit Nashville leaving the city paralyzed. While all of this was happening I was in Florida watching it all on the news.
I finally made it back home to find 7″ of snow in our front yard! It was absolutely beautiful! The next morning when I ventured out to clear the driveway, I felt the shock as the crisp cool air hit my face.. Invigorating indeed! The blanket of white which covered the ground made everything look so clean.. Even the air felt more fresh and clean than usual.
Just as the snow covers the ground and makes the world look and feel fresh and clean, so Christ’s righteousness covers our sin and cleanses us, making us fresh and clean again.
So the next time you see snow, let it be a reminder of the work that Christ does in our lives as He continues to mold us shape us and cleanse us!
