A few weeks ago, I was walking through the grocery store and saw a little boy running past me as his Dad was yelling “Slow down son.” The boy wasn’t in any real harm so I smiled.
I smiled because I have had the same thing happen to me. The child gets so excited that he/she can’t walk along side of their parent.
Billy Graham said “Often times, we want to RUN AHEAD of God’s leading.”
We’ve all heard the phrase “God has a plan for your life.” Yes, I believe that He does. However, we must not run ahead to try and “speed” God along on His plan for us.
Romans 2:12 “Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.”
I’ve had people ask “How can I know God’s will (plan) for my life?”
I believe that if we seek God and specifically ask Him to reveal His plan for your life, that He will show you.

We must realize that God uses every circumstance, every step, every storm to bring His plan into being.
Trust Him that He is working all these things for our good. Follow Him. Allow God to lead the way.
