BevMcCannAwardPhotoApril2016Hello everyone, this summer has been a fun summer yet a trying summer at the same time.

Ps: 16:8 reads “I have set the Lord always before me, because he is at my right hand. I will not be shaken.

Ps: 18:30-36 (you can read further of course) “As for God, his way is perfect; the word of the Lord is flawless. He is a shield for all who take refuge in him.”

God is ever so faithful and true to his word. I just do not know how to survive without his guidance and presence in my life, nor do I want to try. The peace of my Lord and Savior is the most precious gift I have to offer to anyone and everyone I come into contact with.

God does not promise to keep us from life and its circumstances, however God does promise us to give us the grace and the strength to stay on the chosen path the he has chosen for us.

The choices we make in our life, we will receive the Consequences for good or bad, and some of our decisions affect many others in our life.

Not to be shaken; is to not be thrown off the path, to keep our eyes on God and what is important to God. When we raise our children to serve God, they then have to make decisions to go against what they know is right, pay the consequences to come, or walk with God and serve him and receive the gift of life more abundantly, and we have to make the same choices as adults.

So many times we want to blame God and he is not the blame for our decisions, we are, for doing what we knew was wrong or right.

God is there willing to help us to the road to recovery & victory. He never leaves us, but he does allow us make decisions. We are not robots, we are willing vessels that God has created to live & love him but, he added that free will in there (sometimes it would be easier if it was not there, I know) and we have to decide if we are going to be shaken or not.

It’s really hard when people that are close to you a friend, and they hurt you so deeply. Why is it that we hurt the ones that we supposedly love?

I work in a business that is sometimes unforgiving and yet wonderful and rewarding. I count it a blessing to be able to sing and share the word of God to so many people across this wonderful land. I have a new song coming out this year about “not bending to this world and its ways” I want to be one that will stand for Christ and not be shaken by this world and its humanistic views that are trying to overtake the values we all know are true.

God’s ways are perfect and he will walk with us everyday if we ask him too, and he has given us the tools to succeed, and it is up to us to us them. We can live a Victorious life in Christ if we make that choice to do so. So what are you going to do? I know what I’m going to do….. As for me and my house we will serve the Lord….Joshua 24:15

And if it is evil in your eyes to serve the LORD, choose this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your fathers served in the region beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.”

Blessings,

BEV

Serving on the boards of the USAGEM, as well, as MCCF and ACCMA has been a blessing to my life. I feel that God has used these organizations to help me further his calling in my life. I am a Wife, Mother, and grandmother of a beautiful family. We have 17 grandchildren all together. I am loved by a wonderful husband and my family. I / We are truly blessed. Do we have our issues or problems, we sure do, but through the Grace of God we are overcomers and victorious. I was raised in church my whole life and started working in the church in one way or another at about 17 yrs old. I knew when I was around 13 that I would be working with kids and who knew what else. I always dreamed of singing and traveling but I never thought I would get to do what I do. It is just amazing at times. Over the years God has healed me, helped me forgive, and live a Victorious life through our Lord Jesus Christ. See sometimes you never know what someone has gone through, just because they are happy and seem to be free-spirited, we never know the hurt God has healed and brought them through. I am thankful that God saw fit to help me through the years I struggled, but I am ever so thankful he gave me freedom of the past and a blessed and joyful victorious life through Christ.
