One enigmatic smile. Two passionate protectors. And a relentlessly ticking clock.
Each year passes by so quickly when we get multiple years behind us. It seems like no time at all that we were standing in our churches on Easter morning and singing, “He lives, He lives, Christ Jesus lives today…” And now, within just a few days, we’ll be celebrating the Birth of Jesus on Christmas morning.
It may be hard to believe, but 2016 is just around the corner. A year of change, opportunity, tragedy, challenge, and triumph lies ahead.
Some will perhaps remember the old chorus once sung in church: “Thank You, Lord, for saving my soul, thank You, Lord, for making me whole; Thank You, Lord, for giving to me, Thy great salvation so full and free!”
I have been subject of an accusation by many of my peers that I am not one to completely deny. I am a quartet snob.
