LordSong Announces Exciting Group Changes

Amber Balltzglier has resigned after nearly five years with LordSong. Amber and husband, Mark who ran sound for LordSong, have decided to pursue other interests and ministry opportunities. They’ve just celebrated their 2nd anniversary and are ready to start a family. Amber is pursuing a career in real estate while Mark will continue to work as a studio engineer. Kim says, “we support their decision wholeheartedly and wish them the very best.”

Singer/songwriter, Melissa Brady will be filling-in with LordSong until the position is filled permanently. Melissa is married to Jim Brady of the Booth Brothers and is no stranger to gospel music. Michael states, “we really appreciate Melissa and look forward to working with her in the next few months.”

Just as this chapter ends for LordSong, they are very excited about the next chapter that is just beginning. Instead of adding one new vocalist to take Amber’s place, three vocalists will be added. Valerie Ellenburg, Heather Day and Greg Day will be joining LordSong to form what will be one of the most talent-packed vocal groups anywhere. It has been a dream for sisters Kim, Heather and Valerie to sing together for years. Michael and Kim state, “we are very excited about Greg and the sisters joining our team and are looking forward to what God is going to do in and through the ministry of LordSong.”

Heather, Greg and Valerie will continue touring with The Ruppes until sometime in August and will be in full swing with LordSong in September. This fall with Mark Lowry and his “God is Crazy About You” tour is already scheduled and Spring of 2008 is coming together. LordSong has available dates around the “God is Crazy About You” tour. Sorry to hear Amber is leaving LordSong. She has a very soothing, unique voice and the blend with LordSong was something special that could never be replaced. I can see why it took three people to replace her. I wish Amber the best and look forward to what God has in store for her singing career.
