Aaron & Amanda Crabb - Mercy

Producer: Aaron Crabb and Ben Isaacs
Label: Difference Media

Aaron and Amanda Crabb are no strangers to gospel music. Having sung with his award winning family group, "The Crabb Family" for over 10 years, Aaron Crabb won the hearts of fans everywhere. Now, he and his very talented wife, Amanda are teaming together as worship leaders at Cornerstone Church in San Antonio, TX as well as touring on a limited basis.

This is the third project Aaron and Amanda have recorded as a couple and in this reviewers humble opinion it is their strongest and best effort yet. It's been a joy to listen to the vocal growth of Aaron over the years as he's grown from a teenager into a seasoned vocalist. But, I must say, Amanda Crabb has grown vocally as well and she has a beautiful crystal-clear soprano and she sings her heart out on this project.

"Mercy" has some wonderful songs, 7 of which were written or co-written by Aaron and Amanda. This project also has a variety of styles musically to offer the listener and is sure to become a favorite among more contemporary christian music and worship fans.

The opening song. "If I'm Guilty" is a smooth delivery with Aaron on lead vocals and Amanda on a beautiful harmony. The song has a great message, "...if I'm guilty of anything, let it be too much mercy!" Other hightlights include the worshipful anthem "Take Him to the Place", "Come On, Come On" the more country sounds of "I'm Learning", "Holy", which could possibly become a standard worship song in churches. "God Loves the Broken" is one of the best delivers from Amanda to date. She does an incredible job on this beautiful, heartfelt ballad. The project closes with, in my opinion again, one of the best songs on the project, "Guide Me" Aaron and Amanda do a marvelous job with this and you can literally close your eyes and worship.

One of the best things about this project is hearing Amanda come into her own as a vocalist and to hear Aaron go to a whole new level vocally. Also, you can truly sense the anointing upon each and every song as they sing and sense the passion and desire to worship. So refreshing.

Aaron and Amanda Crabb have done a marvelous job and this project is a breath of fresh air for gospel music. Please head to itunes or their wesbite and pick this project up! You won't be sorry. The future is bright for this talented couple and their family. It'll be exciting to watch and see what God does in and through them!

I absolutely love "Guide Me"...it's my favorite on the entire recording. I am even contemplating using it for worship at my church. Tremendous, worshipful song!
