Rachel West Kramer - Majestic Glory

Producer: David Clydesdale, Shane McConnell, and Woody Wright
Label: Independent

I have just finished listening to one of the most beautiful projects that I have heard in years. In fact I have now listened to it 3 times in a row, and I may just have to listen to it one more time before calling it a night. The new CD project, MAJESTIC GLORY, by RACHEL WEST KRAMER has totally ministered to me this evening. Such a gorgeous recording. Rachel is a leading member and plays in intricate part of the Illinois based family group THE KRAMERS, who have been traveling, singing and ministering in music for years, they also have hosted the popular RiverLife Gospel Music Cruise aboard The Spirit of Peoria Riverboat for the past 19 years. After reading the bio on their website, one can tell Rachel has a rich and diverse ministry which encompasses not only music but so many other areas of touching hearts with her speaking ministry as well.

MAJESTIC GLORY, features 10 classic songs of the church so elegantly and richly arranged by the amazing legend of a talent, David Clydesdale and then add in the production of Rachel's incredible vocals by two top talents in the Christian music field, Shane McConnell and Woody Wright, you have a project that will truly bring "goosebumps" on top of "goosebumps" to you several times when listening to the project.

There are ''great talented singers" and then there are "amazing anointed singers", and Rachel Kramer is at the top of the list in that category. Her vocals stretch, soar and then sweep down to the deep crevice of the heart and then back up to the mountain tops of those notes that move so many of us as we listen to the music. I could easily compare Rachel to several of the finest and most respected female vocalists in every genre of music, and that includes Christian, Pop and Classical....she is a "singers singer". What a talent.

The project starts off with a powerful anthem, CHRIST AROSE THE VICTOR, and you know right up front what this album is all about from start to finish. Rachel takes us, the listener, on a wonderful ride of emotions as she sings songs of the church and heart, which includes so many classic favorites. My favorites are THE HOLY CITY, I WALKED TODAY WHERE JESUS WALKED, IT IS WELL WITH MY SOUL, HOW GREAT THOU ART and then she ends the project with the powerful THE LORDS PRAYER, and you will find yourself pressing repeat on it at least once or twice.

I cannot say enough about this CD, and I would highly recommend to everyone who appreciates, respects and loves the gift of music. It is absolutely breathtaking and I have to give it a 5. It has touched my heart tonight.

When I listened to this project I too had the goosebumps reaction only to be pared with joyful tears that were at times uncontrollable. This CD takes you to the throne of Jesus in amazing ways.

I first heard Rachel about 3 years ago. I feel the love of God pouring from her heart. I love to hear her sing. The seniors at South Side Christian Church are previledged to have The Kramer Come once a year for our monthly program. What a blessing

Loved her new release. I have all her CDs
