Ralph Davis of the Gospelaires Passes Away

Ralph Davis passed away today about 2pm. Eastern time.

Ralph Davis of the Gospelaires in Athens, TN passed away yesterday. The Gospelairers had a huge following in the mid-south.
Ralph was from Athens, Tn. and lived in Englewood Tennessee for some years.
Ralph was an original member, sang baritone, and was manager with the Gospelaires Quartet of Athens Tn.

The Gospelaires included such talent as Jerry Thompson (Nelons), Hovie Walker (Singing Americans, Willie Wynn and the Tennesseans) and Garry Herron (Singing Americans and Jerry and the Goffs).

Visitation will be at Englewood, Tn. First Baptist Church where he was a member, (from 4 pm to 8 pm Wed. )
Services will be on Thursday at the First Baptist Englewood.
