The Crabb Family - Grande Finale

Producer: Jason Crabb
Label: New Haven Records
Website: http://www.thecrabbfamily.com

In August of 2007, the Crabb Family said farewell. They had sixteen number one songs, countless Singing News Awards & SGN Awards, 11 Dove Awards & 2 Grammy nominations. Each of the siblings decided it was time to pursue their separate ministries. Some would work together, some would continue with spouses and some would go solo.

They created the “Grande Finale: the Ultimate Concert Experience” and it is truly that! This is a must have for any Crabb Family fan. It showcases the groups ability to put on an exciting concert from a group of talented musicians. They kept a live band throughout and the musicians that played are top notch.

Since this project is full of their hits, it would be impossible to do a full blow – by – blow as the review would end up incredibly long. I’ve decided just to give a few personal highlights instead. "Greater is He" has always been a favorite and there is no exception here. "Sacrifice of Praise" shows off their ability to do intricate harmony like no other. "Please Forgive Me" has some great changes that you may not be expecting but you are sure to enjoy. "Please Come Down to Me" has always been a personal favorite. They do this just a bit different than other recorded versions and really showcases what a great pianist Justin Ellis is. Terah gives a stand out vocal on "I’ve Come to Take You Home."

All in all, if you never got a chance to see the Crabb Family do a live concert or you did and miss the experience, make sure you pick up your copy of this project. It is also available in a live DVD form that will allow you to crank up your TV and pretend you are there.
