SINGING NEWS HAS ANNOUNCED THAT THEY WILL BE RETURNING TO DOLLYWOOD FOR THE 2012 AWARDS PROGRAM. IT IS SET FOR OCTOBER 3 AND WILL BE THE KICK-OFF FOR DOLLYWOODS GOSPEL & HARVEST CELEBRATION.

(I didn’t see this posted anywhere… sorry if duplicate).

This family needs prayers. Melissa posted this on Facebook this weekend. Their oldest son Breck was in a head-on collision. He was airlifted to a hospital (Vanderbilt Med Ctr, I believe). Anyway he has multiple injuries and has already had 2 surgeries (per last post I have read - which was Monday afternoon). Please pray for this family. How awful.

BUFFALO CHICKEN MACARONI SALAD

½ C blue cheese dressing
¼ C mayonnaise
1 t Tabasco sauce
¼ t paprika
1 ½ Cups diced cooked chicken breast
½ C chopped celery
2 Cups cold cooked elbow macaroni (rinsed and drained)
1 C diced fresh tomatoes

In a large bowl, combine blue cheese dressing, mayonnaise, Tabasco sauce, and paprika. Add chicken, celery, and macaroni. Mix well to combine. Stir in tomatoes. Cover and refrigerate at least 30 minutes. Gently stir again just before serving.

I haven’t made this for a while but it is in the cookbook I made so it must be one of my favorites…
