My opinion is that our nation is being judged by God right now. If you’ve studied the end of times much, you’re aware that there is no mention of the USA - I think the reason for that is that we will not be the great world power that we are now by the time Jesus returns, and I think that the timeline of both of those events is closer than its ever been. One thing is for sure; never has there been any great empire that did not eventually meet its demise, and the term “pride before the fall” contains a lot of truth. As a nation, we are too “proud” to be considered a Christian sovereignty. Instead, we must remain “politically correct” and embrace all religions as well as no religion in the name of “separation of church and state”. We are led by infidels who refuse to acknowledge our national day of prayer so as to “not offend” anyone, yet the very head of our nation will sign into effect a proclamation acknowledging June as official GLBT pride month. God forbid!
The “remnant” of Christians in this country must wake up and start looking toward the eastern skies, for truly our redemption draweth nigh. God tells us in Matthew 7:14 that “Strait is the gate and narrow is the way that leadeth unto life and few there be that find it”. This verse is more evident now than ever before. About 75% of adults in America identify themselves as Christian, yet Obama received 53% (more than 69,000,0000 of the popular vote. That just does not reconcile. What that PROVES is that there are a lot of people who talk the talk, yet do not walk the walk. If 75% of the people claim to be Christian, that means that the vast majority of those who voted for Obama have their names on a church roll somewhere.
I debated someone on a similar site as this one prior to the election that a Christian COULD NOT and WOULD NOT vote for Obama for pres, and I stand by that statement. I wonder how that person and the other so-called Christians that voted for Obama feel about his actions since coming into office? On just his third day, he lifted a mandate that previously had prevented U.S. funds from being sent to foreign countries to fund abortions. “Abortion” is just a pretty word for sucking the brains out of innocent, unborn babies and removing them from the womb limb-by-limb. God’s word proves that it is murder and it is sin, no matter how anybody else tries to portray it. God told Jeremiah in Jer. 1 that He knew him before he was ever formed in his mother’s belly, and He sanctified and ordained him as a prophet before he was ever born - yet a Christian can somehow believe that life does not begin until after birth??? What Bible do they read? What God do they pray to for knowledge and understanding? So I still stand firmly by the opinion that a born-again Christian CANNOT and WOULD NOT vote for a person who sanctions the murder of unborns and the advancement of civil rights for homosexuals. They CANNOT and WOULD NOT vote for someone who refuses to set aside a national day of prayer for Christians and refuses to esteem our nation as one that was founded on Christian principals, yet travels the world over bowing to Muslim leaders and embracing them as our friends. One of their main goals is to obliterate Israel and in order for us to ever get along with them peacefully, we will have to sever our own ties with Israel - a nation that was set apart by God himself. Obama is pushing big for creating a separate Palestinian state in Israel. Friends, that in itself is already causing great friction between us and Israel and greatly weakening the bond that once existed between us. I believe it’s only the beginning to our eventual turning on Israel, and when that happens, our nation’s demise will be imminent and Armageddon will soon follow.
