Nashville, Tennessee (February 4, 2016) New Haven Records is pleased to announce the following media opportunities featuring Academy of Country Music Award-winning artist Gordon Mote, who will be performing selections from his new album, Gordon Mote Sings Hymns and Songs of Inspiration:

· Larry’s Country Diner: airing February 4, at 8:00 PM (ET) and again on February 6 at 11:00 PM (ET) on RFD-TV. This great episode is the first with Larry Black returning after his very serious accident.

· Praise The Lord: airing February 12, 2016 at 7:00 PM (PT) and 10:00 PM (ET). This segment is hosted by Jason Crabb and features Gordon, John Berry and Don Moen.

· 2016 Absolutely Gospel Awards Show: 7:00 PM, April 12, 2016 at Nashville First Church of The Nazarene, 510 Woodland Street. Gordon will be co-hosting this Southern Gospel celebration with Tribute Quartet’s Josh Singletary.

Gordon Mote Sings Hymns and Songs of Inspiration was produced by multiple Academy of Country Music award-winner Mote and industry legends Phil Johnson and Wayne Haun. The all-new treasury of traditional favorites and new classics blends Inspirational, Southern, Country and Pop styles to create a project that is fresh yet timeless.

Formed over 19 years ago by Deon & Susan Unthank originally as, the site was birthed from an email discussion group by the same name. The SoGospelNews email discussion list was created by the Unthanks after the Singing News shut down its extremely popular discussion list. SoGospelNews started as a simple webpage listing artists, fans, individuals, etc. that were avid supporters of the newly formed SoGospelNews talk list. The site eventually took on printing news for Southern Gospel artists, and eventually took on reviewing the latest recordings from both signed and independent artists within the small genre. SoGospelNews became the most viewed Southern Gospel website on the Internet with over 4,000,000 hits per month.

The Unthank family are now involved in the site, as well as the addition of over two dozen staff writers. The website is based out of Murfreesboro, Tennessee. In April 2010, SoGospelNews changed its name to The name change allows them to cover news items of not only Southern Gospel, but also Country Gospel, Inspirational, and Black Gospel.

On January 5, 2011, Susan Unthank passed away, leaving the website in control of Deon, their son, Chris, and their daughter Amy.
