Hey, do you have a FRIEND that ALWAYS LATE. I mean, no matter what time you agree to meet, you can count on them ALWAYS BEING LATE. Oh sure, they’ll have every EXCUSE they can think of, but even though, they don’t mean to inconvenience you, that’s just the way they are. It’s a habit that’s so hard to get out of. It’s Pastor Phil of Harvest Chapel with a GOOD WORD from GOD’S WORD today.
We’ve all heard the common statements about BEING LATE; “BETTER LATE THAN NEVER“, “A DAY LATE AND A DOLLAR SHORT” and how about this one, “IT’S NEVER TOO LATE TO DO SOMETHING GOOD!” I guess, being ON TIME, is a battle all of us need to win in our life. And, I’ve noticed that the OLDER a person gets, the EARLIER they arrive. But, there’s one thing that NONE OF US will be late for and that’s our appointments with God.
Jesus was accused of being FOUR DAYS LATE when His good friend LAZARUS had became sick and died. In John 11:22 Lazarus sister, Martha said to Jesus “If you had been here, my brother would not have died“, but here’s the part we all miss, she went on to say, “But I know, EVEN NOW God will give You whatever you ask.”
So, TODAY, if you, or your friends, have not yet won the battle of BEING ON TIME, don’t let it ruin your day. “EVEN NOW“, it’s NEVER TOO LATE to let the Lord do something GOOD in your life.
